Daisuke (dice-k). Anatomy of a Nickname.

What is the deal with Daisuke Matsuzaka nickname. It is not very original. It is just the proper pronunciation of his first name. That is ridiculous. I mean, has even earned the major league right to use the letter K in his nickname. He has not even struck out one batter yet. Does he gamble a lot? Can somebody come up with a nickname for this guy. How about the Kamikaze Kid or the Bonsai Hurler. Even Dice man would be more appropriate I'll tell you one thing Dice-K does not stand up to Lou Da Douche or The Machine to any extent. Post any other nicknames you can come up with in the comments.

His website says his names pronounced "dice-ke" so I guess they dropped an e. I mean, I guess it should technically be considered a nickname. It was a gamble to get him (never pitched in the majors) making the dice part ok and he's a pitcher "making the K part ok".
I went to his "video" links: http://www.daisukematsuzaka.com/video.html and the video that autoplays when opening the page is him hitting a homerun. That'll do a lot of good in the AL. I am jealous of the Red Sox for getting this guy. Wish the Mets got the high bid (which is a retarded process that should probably be reviewed btw, I mean can't we put these nips up on e-bay like anything else?). I don't really have any good nickname ideas for him. Maybe just call him a gook or a chink (very dishonering to nips). Buggs Bunny would now how to handle this guy...

I want to go to Fenway in order to hold up this sign:

"First Math and Science, and now Baseball? We need another run from the Enola Gay!"

the bidding process is actually similar to soccer. You have to give a transfer fee to the international team to release him to another team outside of your league, before that team can negotiate a contract.
